I think everyone should have one. Very much a work in progress, with some special memories and life principles chucked in.
Bold = done .
- Sit on the bench in the sunshine and watch life go by with my Mum
- Go fishing with my dad and kiss a Yellowtail.
- Walk in the rain with my little brother, with a kiddy-sized umbrella that covers neither of us.
- Listen to my Gran tell me stories about her life on a farm in the Karoo
- Learn how important your family is.
- Sing the national anthem and watch Bafana win with a bunch of complete strangers.
- Learn Italian and then order a meal.. in Italian… in Italy
- Stand on the Great Wall of China
- See Paris from the top of the Eiffel Tower.
- Watch the dolphins from the Plett rocks.
- Drive an R8
- Splurge on an Aston as my mid-life crisis present to me.
- Be on the cover of a magazine
- Be in a music video
- Swim in the sea at night.
- Travel Route 62
- Go horse-riding on the beach.
- Fall in love with a city
- See New York in Winter.
- See Provence in Summer.
- Make at least one person smile each day.
- Learn to make Tiramisu.
- Watch the sun set on Chapmans peak with good food and better company.
- Wear a sombrero for the whole day, for no good reason other than to wear a sombrero
- Visit the Louvre and see the Mona Lisa
- Stand in the Hall of Mirrors
- See Hong Kong from the Peak.
- Learn all the names of the Star Ferries cruising around Hong Kong harbour.
- Mistake a wax-work for a person in Madame Tussauds with my Dad
- Hug Mickey Mouse
- See Eddie Izzard
- Meet Desmond Tutu
- See Kings of Leon.
- Be the change I want to see in the world.
- Go on a cruise to the Arctic
- Make someones dream come true
- Get a cactus and keep it alive for at least 4 months!
- Cycle the Argus
- See an African sunset.
- See an African sunrise.
- Pet a tarantula. (One day I’ll conquer the fear )
- Learn the value of good friends.
- Live near the ocean.
- Grow up next to the ocean.
- Fly in a helicopter
- Learn to surf
- Try out snow-boarding
- Get over being shy.
- Visit Venice
- Have the best fish and chips Scotland has to offer.
- Walk along the Kalk Bay harbour on a day when fish are caught
- Laugh until I cry.
- Own a pair of Jimmy Choos.
- Learn to laugh at myself.
- Cuddle Lion cubs.
- See wild animals in the Bush.
- Sleep under the stars in Namibia.
- Make someone believe in themselves.
- Eat Apple strudel and drink hot chocolate in Austria.
- Fall over in the snow, trying to help your Mum who has also fallen in said snow.
- Finish Mario Bros.
- Make a scrapbook
- Plant a garden.
- Own a French Bulldog… maybe even two.
- Know that dogs complete a family.
- Be there for those that need you.
- Meet Orangutans in Asia.
- See a Panda Bear.
- Have dinner on an island in China
- Have a conversation with a French cab driver, in French
- See Phantom of the Opera on West End.
- Get one of the guards outside Buckingham palace to move.
- End up on the wrong bus in Macau and get lost with my mum.
- Play pinball with my dad.
- Go somewhere in a Limo.
- Inspire someone.
- Scream madly when the Proteas win.
- Stand behind them when they lose.
- Own one of Jack Vetrianos paintings.
- Go to Zanzibar
