Support Local Theatre: Rock n Rouge

Kicking off my quest to help local theatre is Cape Town’s burlesque inspired, cabaret group: Rock n Rouge who is set to paint the town red… or is that rouge?

The vibrant group consists of Luella Holland, Chenara Fenton, Jennifer Moss and Julian Fernandez whose voices combine beautifully to cover a range of musical numbers, from the little-known to the well-loved.

They have placed a unique stamp on everything from the intro, to the decor, to the costumes, to the disclaimer on their American accents.

It’s a great night out and The Pop Princess ( Holland), Jazzy Jezebel (Fenton), Delectable Diva (Moss) and Juicy Gentleman (Fernandez) will take you on an evening of giggles, good humour and great entertainment with a uniquely South African twist!

Two Mamma’s (Cabaret) , Girl in 14G and The Song That goes like This (Spamalot) were all really memorable and frankly just plain awesome .

They have rocked and rouged  audiences at BeefCakes , as well as The Masque Theatre, so don’t miss out!

Check out their Facebook Page for details on their upcoming shows.

Its’ a Rocking show, with a touch of Rouge ;)

Rock ‘n Rouge was a fantastically unique and stimulating evening out which got my toes stomping, my hands clapping and even got me up and dancing the timewarp….

Well worth the ridiculously low ticket price! Would love to watch you guys again soon…keep us posted!
